With the holiday deals rolling in, I am looking to assemble a pc with a $2000 budget. Ideally I would like this to include the peripherals as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

My suggestion: 32 gb is really crucial for video editing nowadays. For video editing a fast nvme ssd is important, My choice of intel ssd doubles the speed of Crucial or similar sata ssd: http://ssd.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-600p-Series-NVMe-PCIe-M2-256GB-vs-Crucial-MX300-275GB/m169054vs3642

For CPU, 8700k will be the best choice but too expensive for the budget you have. Ryzen 1700 is a better bang for the money choice for that: https://www.pugetsystems.com/labs/articles/Premiere-Pro-CC-2017-1-2-CPU-Performance-Core-i7-8700K-i5-8600K-i3-8350K-1047/
(Check the last figure comparing 8700k and 1700X)

650W Seasonic focus point is very good and last long, can handle 1080ti even.

Picked 1070ti due to budget, but test shows 1070ti...
Something like this should be pretty good...

Unless you are heavily inclined towards non-gaming usage, which is not what the title suggests, you should stick to the Intel cpu as its latest gen. gaming performance is way above Ryzen and handles non gaming tasks pretty well too. Latest Intel processors are pretty good in video editing as well... https://gizmodo.com/intels-latest-coffee-lake-processors-are-fast-as-hell-1819129322

@vapour
1. 1080p or 2k; around 24''
2. I also plan on using the pc for editing videos and streaming
3. Doesn't need to be wireless. Don't need speakers. Don't need DVD drive. I prefer mechanical keyboards.

Thanks!

Picked 1070ti due to budget, but test shows 1070ti can be overclocked to gtx 1080 stock level easily. I personally like 3 fan version but you can pick any model you like:)

Added win10 assuming you need OS

That mechanical keyboard is not the best, but very good bang for the money and has good reviews, you may upgrade later if you like, try sample out in some shops before buy a really expensive one :)

My recommendation and let me know if you have any questions and extra requirements:

@vapour on pcpartpicker, it says there is a compatibility issue.

"The motherboard M.2 slot #2 shares bandwidth with a SATA 6.0 Gb/s port. When the M.2 slot is populated, one SATA 6.0 Gb/s port is disabled."

This doesn't matter because I don't need wireless, correct?
