Ryzen RAM only at 2133mhz?

I have Corsair Vengeance LED 3200mhz RAM, it is currently only running at 2133mhz. I'd like to get it to 3200mhz but would be happy with 2933mhz. My motherboard can support up to 3200mhz but I've heard Ryzen only supports up to 2667mhz? Am I able to reach a higher mhz by manually setting timings/voltage/speed? If so, how do I do this?

Do I overclock the RAM before the CPU? I heard if you overclock the CPU then the RAM, the RAM would put extra voltage on the CPU, potentially frying it?

Solution
Resetting BIOS

One method is listed above.
Another is listed on page 42 of manual. be sure to disconnect power from wall outlet when clearing CMOS.

Setting Memory Clock is listed on page 55 of downloadable manual.

DRAM Frequency [Auto]
Sets the DRAM frequency. Please note the overclocking behavior is not guaranteed.

Adjusted DRAM Frequency
Shows the adjusted DRAM frequency. Read-only

Advanced DRAM Configuration
This section allows you to manually enter DRAM Timings

CAS latency, or CL, is the first timing number to set.
Memory timings or RAM timings describe the performance of memory using four parameters: CL, TRCD, TRP, and TRAS in units of clock cycles. Once you find CAS Latency you just follow the next three numbers in the timing...

If crash or no boot, turn off 'o-' switch on PSU when pc is off. Touch metal before remove cmos battery for 30secs and put it back. Turn on PSU, wait for 15 secs, turn on, enter into bios and downclock ram speed a little bit and try again.

Aida64/real bench stress test 2 hours to test stability.
