iam getting a gaming pc soon but i dont know what should i choose for gaming and maybe in the future as work station too but gaming is the most purpose so what should i get : amd ryzen 5 1600 or intel core i5-7600k with these specs : g.skill ripjaws 4 16gb ram 3000mhz/ asus rog strix gtx 1060 gaming 6gb oc / 1tb hard / thermaltake 550 lite power psu

Ryzen better workstation performance and a living socket you can upgrade just the CPU.
the 7600k has extremely limited upgrades.

Do not get the thermaltake psu. It's garbage. Get something like the seasonic s12II 520w.

Also go for a i5 8400 better than the 1600 and 7600k.
