Dropped a WD 1TB HDD (in plastic wrap) from 2 inches onto K55 keyboard; is it damaged?

Hi,
I finally got to writing this thread. I've been (albeit lazily) looking for a place to post this off and on for the past 4 months, then I remembered: "Tom's hardware"! Anyway, long story short, I accidentally dropped a WD 1TB hard drive (still in it's plastic wrap, though not in the box,) from a height of 1 and a half to 2 inches onto a Corsair K55 keyboard. The keyboard was damaged; some paint chipped off of the G3 key, where it fell on what I assume was one of the corners of the hard drive, then bumped off of the keyboard and onto my wooden desk. After it fell, it was partially laying on the keyboard, with one side on the wooden desk. So, would it be damaged? I checked the back of it where the components show, and I see some dents in the plastic wrap, but the components on it look fine. I know they're delicate, so, would it (the hard drive) be damaged?
Sincerely,
Lei.
EDIT: You're right, all 3 of you. It's probably not damaged, just the plastic wrap and keyboard (I wrote over the G3 key where the paint was chipped off with a permanent marker and it looks fine now, even though that doesn't sound very pleasant,) and the HDD's probably fine. If it was an SSD, it wouldn't have a chance to damage any components in the drive from 2 inches, since SSDs' components are entirely within the drive. But it's an HDD, so I'll check it out and see if it works when I get the rest of the parts in. I'm building the Photon 2.0, by the way. (It's an Austin Evans build.)
Wish me good luck,
Lei.
