Hello,

so it's 5 days now I'm googling and trying to fix the issue with sleepless night and doubled amount of cigs smoked. I tried literally everything I could find. I'm still living in my parent's house and I'm the only one not being able to connect to game servers nor their launchers. I can do everything else though. I can even download games through Origin, yes that's right. I can login, browse their shop, download Battlefield and literally everything, BUT Origin says "We can't connect you to your friends list or chat right now". When I start Battlefield 4 it says "Go online" - so I do. Just to see that nothing happens and the button is still there. If this would be the only launcher causing problems I'd message the EA support but that's sadly not the case.

What I already did:
-All ipconfig, netsh, winsock, etc ... Can't remember all tbh
-Network reset
-Every cable I could find unplugged and plugged in again
-Router reset
-tracert
-Ping
-Set avira and windows defender firewall to defaults
-Allowed Origin, Steam and Battlenet processes
-allowed the necessary ports for above named in the firewall advanced settings
-(Just) reseted my PC
-Virus scans (avira) - nothing found
-Malwarebytes scan - nothing found
-Updated network adapter driver, uninstalled driver, let windows install a driver itself (realtek family controller from 2015), uninstalled that too, updated driver to a version from 2017
-completely disabled firewall
(edit)
-plugged the router out, waited about a minute and plugged it back in. It did not change anything

Other info:
-yesterday, google sent me an email that someone in another german city tried to login with my password at the exact time I myself logged me in. I know, it's probably a locating issue but it hasn't happened once in the last years.
-I cannot login to steam at all since I reset my PC. Before the reset I could login but not play any games online.

I'd really appreciate any other advice of what I could try too and I hope I haven't already tried that in the last few days.
Let me know when I shall post any logs. Thank you in advance!

Is there another computer in the house you could try installing Steam onto, and attempt a login from there? Doesn't even have to be a computer that is powerful enough to play games. Just a machine that is different from yours to see if it's your computer that is having the connection problem.

Other than that, I would temporarily shut down all firewall / anti-virus software running on your machine when a convenient time presents itself, and remove the router altogether and connect your computer, and only yours, directly to the modem and attempt a connection.

If you can connect once you've disabled all of your safety net software and disconnected your local router, you can turn things back on and go step by step through everything until you find the culprit that is preventing the connection.

Alright I did that. I'm using DLAN btw so between the router and my PC. I checked all cables from the wall to the router. I check the ones from my DLAN to my PC and everything is looking fine except it's a quite dusty behind my desktop.
I also discovered something quite disturbing: I cannot login through the steam launcher because I seem to have no connection. And here come's the really crazy part: I just logged in to Steam through google chrome in the browser... I don't get it what's wrong with my connection! I checked that no ports or processes are blocked by ANYTHING. The launchers require some UDP and TCP ports and I gave them permissions to access them. The routers firewall isn't blocking anything too because in this very second my step father's playing Starcraft with an online connection through Battlenet.
I doubt it is an hardware issue because all cables are fine as well as my DLAN. Why would I be able to browse and download but not play online if my NIC, cables or DLAN were broken?
Man if anyone could help me find a working solution I'm gonna marry that person.

As I said, the 3 other people living here have stable connections to these specific launchers.
After I reseted my PC I had no Avira at all, I disabled the Windows Defender Firewall and still could not connect to Steam/Origin/Battlenet (remember I can download through Origin but online features themselves are disabled because I have no connection :??:)

The problem is that the router is on another floor and we don't have any 20m LAN cable
A faulty DLAN could be the source of half-working connection?

Semi-Solution I found!!!! Man I can't believe it!!
I just installed a VPN Service, choose Germany as my country (I am from Germany actually) and I SUDDENLY have a working connection to all the launchers!!!!
The really, REALLY sad thing is: I don't know what I'm gonna use that knowledge for.
Please, PLEASE help
I just can't keep using VPN Services to stay online at home :(

Another update: I checked all internal and external firewalls: not a single port is blocked. Changed the LAN cable too, still no success. May the network card be the problem? I don't know what to do anymore. VPN works like a charm but without it I do have a connection but I ain't able to connect to Origin etc as well as to game servers...

Update of the update:
Okay,
the issues is solved. I did so much in the last couple o days and nothing changed but as suddenly as the issue was there it has suddenly vanished now. I don't freaking know what happend.
The only other things I did today was that I contacted an EA support and he/she told me to:
-reset internet explorer

and then this:
1. cmd as admin
2. ipconfig /flushdns
3. ipconfig /registerdns
4. ipconfig /release
5. ipconfig /renew
6. netsh winsock reset
7. reboot

My connection to Origin etc wasn't immediately online but now it is. I'm not sure if this was the actual solution though. Thanks for your replies guys
