i5 7400 bottleneck

Hi there! Well i recently bought a pc with i5-7400 and a geforce gtx 1070 but for some reason the i5-7400 is bottlenecking my 1070 temps are fine 50-60 degrees celcius i really dont know what is causing this problem does anyone have a idea?

i have set everything on maximum performance in nvidia control panel and on battery
i also have the latest gpu drivers

Pairing a i5-7400 with a gtx 1070 is only a slight CPU bottleneck in CPU intensive games. Not nearly as bad as a i5-6400. But at the end of the day it depends on the game and what resolution you're playing at.

and fot example pubg really high cpu usage but low gpu usage get around 40-55 fps on low settings, and other thing is i notice on some games. i've watches videos about pc's like my exact same specs exact same everything but they have a lot a lot better performance

hi i've got a gtx 1070 i5-7400 but the i5 is bottlenecking my gpu in example gta v cpu usage is 90-99% and gpu is 68-86% this is really bothering me, my friend has the same specs but his i5 isnt bottlenecking temps are fine and drivers are up 2 date
