Im planning to buy a new gtx 1050ti oc To play new games and get a higher fps and to run games smoothly. Does upgrading my gpu makes a huge performance and makes my games faster or not?.

Specs
MOBO: asrock 880gm-le fx
CPU:amd athlon ii x2 255 3.1ghz
GPU:GTX 560SE
RAM: 4GB

Bad effect unless your CPU keeps you from being able to play a game or is the limiting factor keeping you from having adequate performance for a title you want to play there is no real "bad effect" I can think of. The worst that could happen is that you will install this card and receive no performance uplift in a few of your games. This would tell you your CPU is holding you back in the game you are playing and that is literally the worst that could happen. (This is ruling out a dead graphics card and other hardware issues not related to having a working card)

EDIT: As far as how long you can use it. I'd say use it until you get the necessary funds to properly upgrade to a Ryzen or Coffeelake Ix based system. (Ryzen is cheaper though...

Hmm well depending on the game the GPU would probably offer better performance, but that CPU definitely needs to be upgraded soon and will by far be a limiting factor in most games.

NOTE: It should also be noted that some newer games will not even start on a 2 core system like yours as they will detect that you have two cores and close shortly after you launched the game.

Adding a new video card to that is not going to help much at all for new games your hardware is just to outdated.
