Hey,

I want to move windows to my SSD from my HDD, but i was wondering if all my games go, is there a way i can just make windows go only keep my games in the HDD and photos and stuff on HDD? And also if it does take everything, how would I make two folders for steam like is it just a random folder named SteamApps? one on Ssd and the other on hdd or what?

Solution

No, there is no function or application to move "only windows".

How much total consumed space on your current drive?
How large is the new SSD?

For Steam games, you can absolutely have them on more than one drive.

Like this:
Steam games location
In the steam client:
Steam
Settings
Downloads
Steam Library Folders
Add library folder

...
If your SSD is same or larger than HDD, simple cloning would transfer everything to it. Steam also has an application for moving their games around with minimal setup and downloads. After that you can empty HDD and use it for data or transfer Staem folders back to it.

To move an already installed game
Games library
Right click the game
Properties
Local Files
Move Install Folder
