I build a pc 2 monhts ago and I had severals problems with my ssd and my hdd. My ssd is fine now but I still have problem with the HDD. The computer technician said that he fixed it (had the same problem a month ago) but today I had the same problem. It seems that the HDD is not detected for a second. E.X I was trying to open a program and then I heard a clicking noise, like the HDD was turned off and then a message showed "The following program stopped working" and then the HDD folder shows up. Do I have to change something in the BIOS? Is the HDD faulty?

Solution
try a new SATA cable and a different SATA port on the motherboard. bad/loose cables can cause all kinds of troubles.
the drive maker will have diagnostics utilities you can download and test the drive.
