Why is this system better on win10 than win7?!?

I've been getting loads of pagefaults that cause stutter in-game (cs:go). Whatever I do, I can't seem to get rid of them (tried fresh installs more than 10 times, not even kidding). But on win10 everything is much smoother... But I still want to just have win7!

I have Win7 and Win10 on the same SSD (dual-boot), both have minimized settings to improve performance. Here are the win7 DPC latency screenshots:

And THIS is on win10:

My rig

Mobo: MSI Z270-A Pro
CPU: Intel i5 7600k @stock
Ram: 2x4GB Vengeance DDR4 @ 3000 MHZ (XMP enabled)
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 660 (I know it's not incredible, but I get enough FPS in csgo. CSGO is more CPU-bound anyway)
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO (both OSes are on it)

I've been literally trying to figure out the problem for over a month, but there isn't a lot of accurate info online relating to pagefaults and latency.

Tried all sorts of drivers, fresh install with and without the windows updates, I just don't get it.

Virtual memory hasn't helped me at all on Win7, and it's set to "No paging file" on both operating systems, but only windows 7 seems to be faulting.

Win 10 is lighter, and better able to work with modern hardware than 7 as it has been built with the knowledge that it exists. Officially kabylake doesn't support win7.

Why not just use win10.
