My mom runs an office and currently uses an iPad (3rd gen) for note taking, scheduling, and light web browsing. It has become very slow and she is looking for a replacement. She is looking for a Tablet or 2-in-1 running iOS or Windows 10. I have never owned a tablet so I thought someone here might be able to help me out.
Thanks!

Did you simply try to reset the thing to factory defaults to see if it will help with the slowness? Are the programs she uses and files saved specific to iOS? Note taking and scheduling implies some app is being used, can those be used on Android without losing information? Going from an iPad to another iPad should be seamless, just make sure you have a backup of whatever files and settings you have now. A new iPad is under $400 if you don't need a lot of storage, or you can get a used iPad 4 or Air with more storage for about the same price or less.
