Is a 250gb SSD enough?

I'm looking into buying myself a SSD and I can't decide between the 250gb or the 500gb. I would rather buy the 250gb because it's $80 cheaper but will 250gb be enough? I really only plan on having my OS and apps (Steam, Discord, etc) on it. I don't plan on having any games on it.

Would you go with the 250 or the $80 more 500?

Solution
It's more than enough, an 80gb SSD would be enough for the OS and a few small programs like steam. So yes 250gb would be fine for your stated purposes, you should even have plenty of space for a few games if you want. I personally use a 500gb SSD which I use for my OS, all my programs, and most of my installed games.

I would not recommend an 80gb SSD, just making a point.

250GB is plenty and you will even be able to fit games on it but do remember that 10% of the SSD needs to be free for caching purposes otherwise the drive will slow down a lot.
