Hi Can any Technical Expert Suggest me i have purchased Yamaha 5.1 Home theater and i have a samsung Blu ray 5.1 . My concern is little complicated all physical connections are fine. The major issue is if i play a blu ray and want to hear the Sound effect from the Yamaha 5.1 i hear only the vocal and if i play the Hard drive through the USB samsung 5.1 again i dont get the full bass and dolby digital sound but i hear from the samsung 5.1. Tried enhancing the Speaker configuration through HDMI 1 which is again the blu ray connect and optical is connected between both the samsung and yamaha 5.1 . The real out put what i saw & heard during the product purchase display am not getting the same here please do share the right method to get the best out put.

Without model numbers we can't give you an exact answer.
In general you would connect a blueray player (not a HTS with blueray built in) to the Yamaha with HDMI. The HDMI out of the Yamaha would go to the HDMI-ARC input on the TV and ARC would be turned on. That would get sound from the TV back to the Yamaha (ARC is audio return channel). All other external sources should go to the HTS too.
How the Yamaha handles a USB drive connected to it will be in the owners manual. It will also be dependent on the audio on the files you are playing. Try different surround modes for each file.
