Hello,

I've seen similar threads previously but wanted to confirm something. I've just built a new system but can't get the case fans to work. It has a connector to plug into the SATA port on the PSU. It also has a separate little plug (with two wires - male) which I can't seem to plug in anywhere. I would assume it would go into one of the chassis fan ports on the motherboard? Those are also male though. Is it possible to get an adapter or am I way off? I looked through everything I received and couldn't see anything else. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Also would it be safe to use the machine without the case fans working with the case open? I'm really keen to start loading the OS etc while I figure out how to fix the case fans.

Solution
I could not find any information on the fan controller, the case manuals are spartan to say the least.
glad you got the fans spinning.

be quiet! Pure Base 600 case.
be quiet! Pure Power 10 600w Power Supply
be quiet! Dark Rock 3 CPU cooler
ASRock Z270 Taichi Motherboard

The CPU fan etc work it's just the front and rear built in PC case fans which won't work.

Ok looks like the fans are working - not sure what that other little adapter thing is for? Seems to just run from the cable plugged directly into the PSU - I hit the fan connector button on the front and turned to full and the fans now spin :)
