Hello!

I have just built a new computer using a mix of both used and new hardware. Almost since the first boot up, I have been having issues where games crashed while playing. Usually, the crashes occur once after I've started my computer after about 20-30 minutes. After the games had crashed and I've closed the program through task manager the system run without any issues. I have enabled XMP through BIOS and an automated overclock of 14% through BIOS. The CPU is water cooled using a Corsair watercooler and the GPU air cooled. The CPU is sitting around 50 degrees Celsius while the GPU is around 80 under load. The games that I play are mainly PUBG and LoL.

The components that where bought used are the PSU and the GPU. The other components are new. I would really appreciate any help that I could get.

Specs:
CPU: inte 7700-k
GPU: ASUS GeForce GTX 1080 ROG Strix
RAM: Corair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3000MHz 16GB
PSU:EVGA SupesrNOVA 850 G2
Motherboard: Asus Maximus IX hero
Storage:Samsung 850 EVO 250GB

Based on your description i would think it's one of two problems, overheating or driver issues. I would suggest 2 things. First got to your Device Manager and make sure all your drivers are up to date. Second, have a hardware monitoring program like HWiNFO64 running on your desktop to monitor your PC as your using it. You may notice something happening just before your computer crashes.
