So I recently removed a virus from one of my rigs, and it is now running slightly slower than before. It is specifically noticeable when performing tasks like opening Chrome. It used to be instant, but now it takes about a second. Anyway, this is one of my more expensive rigs and I am becoming very worried. Any and all help is highly appreciated.

I'd say it's a bit early to recommend a Windows reload... I'm a systems\network engineer and remove viruses quite often.

Just because you ran a malware scan doesn't mean it found all spyware or viruses and same for the other programs. There is not just one program to find everything.

Please run the following programs.

Run Malwarebytes

Run CCleaner (both cleaner and registry scanner)
https://filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/
Run Spybot Search and Destroy

Run Junkware remove Tool

Run Adwware removal tool

imo you should delete chrome and re-install. probably an addon embedded itself and when you start up the broswer, its loading.

use superantispyware and/or malwarebytes, spybot s&d to remove other nasties av wont look for.

Last case scenario run ComboFix

If you are still expericing issues after running all those tools. Then you have a larger issue and I'd suggest a Windows reinstallation.
