SSD Samgung 850 EVO vs Samsung 960 EVO

I was thinking in buying a ssd, but I am not sure if I should buy one with 500GB or 1TB. Is there any increase in performance running games? Or having an ssd is only useful for running the OS?

I saw two that seemed the best
Samsung 850 EVO
Samsung 960 EVO

I have a MSI Z270 Gaming M3, is it compatible with these two ssd?

The only real benefit to having your games on the SSD is loading times are noticeably shorter, besides that there's no other gains such as increased FPS. Depending on your budget I would go with a 250gb+ SSD & a 1TB+ HDD.

I didnt think the difference was so huge.
But would you say it justifies the difference in price? Should I go for the samsung 960 EVO? I dont know if a difference in gaming experience is noticed using one or another. what do you think?
