All motherboard ports are not working; is my motherboard broken?

I built my computer last January and the motherboard I have, Z170A Krait Gaming 3X, has always been a little fishy. The ports would not produce power sometimes but this weekend all the ports on the motherboard stopped working and the computer won't turn off when I hit the power button. It disconnects from the monitor and GPU will turn off but the CPU and motherboard will keep running.Is my motherboard broken?

Specs of pc-
i5 6500,
16gb of ballistic ram,
Z170A Krait Gaming 3X ,
gtx 1050ti,
EVGA 850W power supply

I would suggest starting with making sure that all the cables and connectors are firmly attached to the motherboard. If that is the case, and you are still experiencing these issues, I would suggest contacting either the motherboard manufacturer or whoever you purchased the parts from to see about getting an RMA or replacement board.

ok, I checked all of my cables multiple times so I'm definitely going to call the MSI.
