Is 4GB Ram causing FPS problems (GTA V)?

Hello,
my GPU is AMD Radeon HD 6670
CPU is - Intel core i5-3570 3,4ghz (quad-core)
and i have 4gb of DDR3 ram.
On low settings i have around 60-80FPS but when im driving really fast, GTA stutters and it gets really laggy until i slow down :/
I read somewhere that this is because of 4GB of ram, so it uses like HDD as a virtual memory, which is not that great...
I belive that my windows is also using a little bit of a ram so 4gb of ram drops to like a 3,2gb or something? which is not great for gta v minimal req :/

Soo do i need to upgrade to 8gb of ram or what?

Thanks ^^

GTA V is quite a RAM eater XD And it tends to get more of it while playing. I have 32 GB of RAM and it arrives up to 14GB of RAM utilization while playing, according to MSI Afterburner. However, I play with a friend who has 8 GB of RAM and he can play fine. So yeah, if you can upgrade to 8.

Well, i know that my GPU is bottlenecking CPU but i currently don't have enough money to buy GPU like GTX 1050ti :p
Im running on low settings and im just wondering will it fix if i upgrade it to like 8gb of ram?

Soo its worth upgrading it to 8? Cause its only when im driving really fast, but when im walking, shooting, etc i get around 70-80 sometimes o go up to 95 fps :)

I did notice an increase in RAM utilization exactly when driving really fast for long time. If you can, try to run MSI Afterburner and check if the RAM goes up and if that's the problem. If you game often, 8 gb of RAM will come in handy anyway.

Get RAMMap from Microsoft and repurpose RAM as you want.
Yeah, 4GB RAM is not enough even though stated at minimum requirements.
Get 6GB RAM and save up for a decent graphics card.
You can get a GTX 750 ti for about $50 used and with that you may play medium-high settings at 60+ fps.

8GB. GTA V will not run well with anything less, despite the "minimum" requirement being lower.

I play GTA V with 4GB of RAM and it runs at around 20-25 fps, but it 4 is not enough, when driftting the game freezes for seconds and come back to normal.
With that being set, 6GB of RAM is enough, you need 8 however to play at high settings.
8GB RAM and the HD6670 is overkill.

6 is the sweet spot.XD

Okay i ran MSI Afterburner and GTA V together.
When i first joined/started game while standing, walking my ram usage was like 3200mb but as i played it got up to like 3800mb and i saw my memory usage was also like 910mb.
It wasn't lagging/stuttering at first but when my ram usage to 3700+ than it started stuttering a little bit for example when crashing into objects while driving fast, and also i noticed that my sound sometimes like stutters..
soo is it because of a ram? will buying 2-4gb of ram help me?

Yes you got the empirical proof that your ram is limiting your experience. 8 will be good and you will notice also a better experience outside gaming. 4 gb for gta5 were "enough" before the biker's update, I noticed that the usage of all components went up significantly after that update. By the way, how were gpu and cpu usage? cpu should be more than enough and that gpu should be fine to play with certain settings. If you don't have plans to upgrade your system anytime soon go to 8 gb of ram and you will be satisfied. :)
