Game lagging when streaming (only utilizing 50% of GPU, CPU, and RAM

Whenever I stream a game it seems like my fps drops in game but my fps stays the same at 144 fps. The games I stream are Overwatch and PUBG.

Specs:
Intel i7-7700k
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
18gb RAM

lower your Streaming FPS/quality/CPU usage. It lags due to some resources (CPU/RAM) used by steaming.

is it my cpu thats lacking though? i see other streamers with the same cpu or worse but a better gpu and it seems fine for them even though they're not overclocking their cpu

Try to add 0.3 Ghz to your stock setting and see if there are any improvement. I believe most 7700k owners do OC
