PC won't boot after installing new RAM

So I have a Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UDH3H motherboard that I'm trying to install two 8gb sticks into. I already had 16gb of RAM installed, but I wanted to upgrade to 32gb.

My problem is that whenever I try to install the two additional sticks, the computer gets stuck booting over and over again, with the fan and lights turning on for a few seconds and then shutting off and looping.

I have already tried resetting the CMOS by pulling out the battery, I have already upgraded my BIOS firmware, reset the BIOS to defaults settings, etc. I also tried swapping out my new sticks with my old sticks and it works perfectly, so there are no faulty sticks -- but whenever I try inserting a stick into slot 3 or 4 or both, my PC dies. The sticks I'm using are HyperX Fury HX316C10FBK2/16, and all 4 sticks are exactly the same (DDR3, 1600MHz), and are all supposedly compatible. Why would only 2 work in slots 1 and 2 if they're all the same?

Could there be any other BIOS settings that I need to adjust? If there are any other things that someone can think of, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Solution
Yes ^.

That is why it is usually recommended getting a dual (or quad) channel kit where all kit modules are guaranteed to be compatible with each other.

No guarantee of success, but could try raising DRAM Voltage by 0.05 V. Don't exceed 1.65 V.

If still can't get the system to work properly with all four modules, could try raising System Agent Voltage by ~ 0.01 V.
