Hi,

I'm looking for a new build less than $1500.

I will mainly stream and play games of the moment like PUBG, Fortnite.
Do you think the Video card is too expensive?
Do you think an i7 would be more advantageous for game and stream in same time?

I would like to find the best value for my use..
Any remarks and/or proposals is good to take

It is not wise to invest in Kabylake platform at this point. For your budget:

Plus you'll need more than 4 threads to game and stream at the same time.

Yes, Kaby Lake is dead. Plus, coffee lake has 2 Please do not invest money in it. Do what the above poster has said for a much better experience. And from the above 2 builds, my vote goes to the Ryzen 7 system due to it having 6 more threads which will help a lot in streaming and video editing.

@FD2Raptor & @hellraiser06 Thanks for your reply !

I have two question about your builds:

Why did you have not the game memory for both builds ?
Why did you replace the M.2 SSD ?

A> There's no such thing as "game memory". All DDR4 with the same specifications will perform very similarly to one another. I just select the GSkill kit for Intel config for its price being lowered to its sale price, and the Crucial kit for the Ryzen config for its ability to be overclocked higher than its rated clock, plus it's lower/shorter allowing it to fit under the Scythe Fuma's fan. The Scythe Mugen doesn't hang over the DIMM slots so the taller Gskill kit will fit with no issue.

B>M.2 SSD is a vanity. While it can give you high "benchmark speed", there's limited to zero difference in real world usage. If you had the budget to go for, say, 500GB NVMe boot+games and 2TB SATA SSD as secondary storage then maybe there's enough incentive to pay more for the sustained transfer speed between the two devices, however at the lower budget... it is as I said, it's just for show.

And for recording gameplay, edit the video and then upload it to YT/ect, you'll want to look at Steady State result rather than sequential result:

The SSD capacity in the test differ, but these new 3D NAND do performs really well under this type of workload.

Thank you for your reply !

All parts are not available in my country, so this is an alternative of your build:

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 7 1700X 3.4GHz 8-Core Processor ($298.89 @ OutletPC)
CPU Cooler: Scythe - FUMA 79.0 CFM CPU Cooler
Motherboard: MSI - B350 TOMAHAWK ATX AM4 Motherboard ($93.49 @ SuperBiiz)
Memory: Corsair - Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 Memory ($174.88 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: Gigabyte - GeForce GTX 1070 Ti 8GB Video Card ($489.99 @ Amazon)
Case: Inwin - 805 RED ATX Mid Tower Case ($118.98 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: Corsair - TXM Gold 650W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply ($79.99 @ Newegg)
Other: WD Blue 3D NAND 500GB PC SSD - SATA III 6 Gb/s 2.5"/7mm Solid State ($151.53 @ Amazon)
Total: $1407.75

CPU Cooler: I can find only the SCFM-1000 for the brand Scythe
Memory: Can't find more than 2400MHz for the Crucial Ballistix Sport LT one
Case: A personal choice (aesthetic)
WD Blue 3D NAND: Is there a difference between version M.2 and version 2.5" ?

Do you know something about the warning below ?
The Scythe - FUMA 79.0 CFM CPU Cooler may require a separately available mounting adapter to fit the MSI - B350 TOMAHAWK ATX AM4 Motherboard.

The SCFM-1100 is the updated package with the mounting kit for AM4 socket of Ryzen CPU; the SCFM-1000 is the older package that doesn't come with the mounting kit for that socket and therefore would require you to contact Scythe to get that bracket.

The In Win 805 has very poor airflow, so personally I don't recommend that case for this kind of heavy workload.

Also, don't pair Ryzen CPU with 2133Mhz DDR4, because unlike Intel CPUs, their performance suffer greatly with slow RAM. The Sport LT 2400 at least should allow you to manually OC them to higher clock.

Good to know for the memory and the case !

What do you think about the CORSAIR Vengeance LPX PC4-24000 (3000MHz), CL15-17-17-35 ? I can found it at the same price of the Sport LT 2400 ?

Can you recommend an alternative to the SCFM-1100 ? Does the ARCTIC Freezer 33 Plus or the SCYTHE Mugen 5 PCGH Edition are good ?

The Scythe is good, but Arctic Freezer coolers are junk. I'd stick with the Dark Rock that you had in your initial build.
