Hi,i wanted to ask you guys some questions about my pc.First, here is my pc:
MB: Gigabyte P55-UD3
CPU: Intel i3 530 @2.93GHz
RAM: Kingston HyperX DDR3 4GB (2x2GB) KHX1600C9D3K2/4G
GPU: Gainward Nvidia Geforce 9600 GT 1GB
PSU: CHIEFTEC CTG-500-80P 500W

Nothing has been changed for all these years,so i want to ask if i can do something about it.I play mostly csgo and dota 2,but on very low settings. If i'm to overclock my cpu and change my gpu for some cheap used gpu(some ddr5 1gb) would it be able to run those, and some other games better? Thanks for all of your answers in advance.

Solution
you probably need to replace the ram you have with a fresh set
specifications are:

4 x 1.5V DDR3 DIMM sockets supporting up to 16 GB of system memory (4x4gb) Dual channel memory architecture
Support for DDR3 2200/1600/1333/1066/800 MHz memory modules
Support for non-ECC memory modules
Support for Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) memory modules

if all your doing is watching video yes the GT 720-730 is plenty but for same price a GTX 660/660ti can be had on ebay for cheap
The good news is that yes, for those kinds of games(esports) a videocard upgrade would make a very big difference. You have an old dual core, but it has hyperthreading so that's alright. The 9600 GT was decent in its day but that was long ago.

The sort of bad news is your motherboard is old, with no UEFI bios. Some of the newer cards can be picky about having that bios. You have many choices open to you though. In used cards, something equivalent to a GTX 650 Ti would work. I know, because I used one to play CSGO and some other similar games. An AMD HD 7770, 7790, or 7850 would be around the same. Of new cards, the GT 1030 would be your best bet. It seems to work well with a wide range of computers.

1gb vs 2gb in this range of card has more to do with resolution than anything else. At 1080p it can help to have 2gb vram if you like to run high settings, since depending on the game you might need over 1gb vram to do use both high settings and 1080p. You definitely want DDR5.

yeah,mb is really old.I dont need games to run in 1080p or on high settings,i play csgo on 1024x760 blackbars all low,so i need just fps,not quality.By overclocking cpu and getting one of those gpus you recommended, could i improve my fps and by how much...i just dont want csgo to stutter because it gets pretty annoying. And what card would you recommened me(btw,i dont really want to spend more than 50 euro on a used card).

Distinguished
gt 1030 or rx 550 is about $70 and can do really well with those games. you can also upgrade the cpu to a 1st gen I5 and do a little better as long as the mobo supports it. I know an i5 650 will still run those games well at 1080p medium setting with the listed cards and 8gb ram

i really dont want to change anything besides gpu, what gpu can work on this spec as it is besides 1030 because its 70 euro and i kinda dont want to spend that much on a pc im gonna change soon-ish.
and about overclocking, can i do it now and can you give me some guide?

You need to understand that overclocking, draws more power on your power supply.
can you O.C. your I3-530 sure, will your PSU support the draw of power? that is to be found out.
how ? when you set overclock if systems resets and you get black screen, pop cmos battery reset cmos and reboot to base levels.
that will mean you PSu cannot handle the OC you set.

Ok,so i won't oc my cpu.But can i do something about this pc that will help him run games(csgo mainly) better?
As i said already,i would only change a gpu, nothing else.So will any gpu help me improve my fps in games, and what gpu would work on that mb with that psu?
