Good afternoon, folks!.

I seem to be having problems with my PC. Again. :pfff:

After having bent a pin or six on my motherboard, and fixing it afterwards (thanks to my uncle, who got a magnifying glass and an xacto knife and sat there for what felt like two whole hours. ) I got my graphics card, and found out that the PCIe x16 on my motherboard was dead (this is what a typical day feels like for me). I said to hell with it, and promptly bought another motherboard, and installed the gpu. It was all great, and I went to bed.

The next day (today) I turn it on, and it works! For the most part... There was flickering on the screen (this is before driver installation) but it only happens when I connect the monitor via DP, hdmi works just fine. So I look it up on google (like normal people do when they have a problem) and I see that some people had trouble with this and fixed it by turning off freesync. And I do just that. Aaaand... Screen goes black and wont turn back on.

I power off the pc, make sure to switch the PSU to OFF, and disconnect the cable from the wall. I took out the graphics card, and tried to connect the PC with integrated graphics, but alas, it was not meant to be. The pc turns on, fans spin, motherboard leds go on. But there's nothing. The new board did not come with a speaker, so I have no idea if it posted, but I just know that there is no image.

If you folks would be kind enough to try to help, it would be greatly appreciated. My motherboard is an MSI Z270 SLI PLUS, and my Graphics Card is a GIGABYTE RADEON RX VEGA 56
