But there is still the issue of having found some images of the ones that do not use injection-molding on the heads still catching fire. Does anyone have any personal experience with this as well as some recommendations?

Unfortunately, without inspecting them all, you can only really go on brand/reputation.

Realistically, the number of them that have caught fire (even generic ones from "no-name" manufacturers) are small.

StarTech, BitFenix and Sivlerstone are all viable options.
