I'm having a problem where my display is flickering pink and green, but only in one game that I like to play. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game. I uninstalled and reinstalled the graphics card drivers. Why might this be happening? Thanks!

Solution
You may end up needing to RMA the graphics card then.

You should also have the issue in other games and stressful graphic applications, again try FURMARK.

I haven't used MSI Afterburner, but looking at the web site it looks like it has a "Memory Frequency" as well as memory voltage.

I'd try this:
1) find quickest way to prove graphical issues (Furmark? Unigine Valley? Game?)

2) Open MSI Afterburner, set memory to 90% of what is shown (i.e. 2,250 if 2,500), then SAVE

3) test for graphical issues

4) if gone, raise the memory frequency to where the graphical problems start, then backoff at least 2% (there are VOLTAGE options too but I don't want to confuse things)

5) If problem NOT gone put memory back to default and experiment with...
My guess is that it's a game that is particularly hard on the graphics card. That may be VRAM artifacts.

You can try getting the appropriate software and UNDERCLOCKING both the GPU and VRAM both to about 90% to see if that fixes the issue. If so, then put the GPU back and if that's still good, raise the VRAM up until errors then drop down until no errors.

Also, try running FURMARK as that should be pretty stressful and may show errors though I don't know how much VRAM it populates.

Not saying this is for sure your issue but it's a strong possibility.

It could be the issue. It's PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, which is still in alpha, and is known for poor optimization and other issues. I only just put this desktop together a few days ago though, and I don't know how I would go about underclocking it. I downloaded some software (as per the suggestion of my GPU manufacturer) called MSI Afterburner...I'm not sure if that's what I need for this.

It MAY be a software issue with PUBG as you suggest, but then the above people may actually have a hardware problem anyway. I can probably Google any game and find people with issues like this due to hardware.
