Hi there,

I am going to build my first pc. I want to get a solid mid-range build with good price/performance components. Also I have no interest in overclocking anything.

I have selected most components:
CPU: i5-7500
Motherboard: asus prime b250 m-ATX or Msi B250M PRO-VDH
GPU: gtx 1060 3gb
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB 2400MHZ
SSD: 500GB Samsung 850 EVO
PSU: EVGA Supernova 550 G3 gold

My main question would be: does it matter which gtx 1060 3gb I get to be able to fit this in a micro atx case? Also: which micro atx case would you recommend?

Any constructed criticism on my component selection would be welcome as well.

EDIT: By the way, I live in Europe, so please keep that in mind when talking about prices.

If you want to pick up a GTX1060, you should look at the 6GB models. The 3GB are a waste of investment. You could fit a large GPU in pretty much any matx mid towered style case. I could suggest the Coolermaster N200, Fractal Define Mini C or the NZXT H400i but the N200 would be the best in terms of build balance.

One issue I have with the gtx 1060 6GB is that it's E80 more than the 3GB model. This is about 30% of the price. I'm not sure if that is worth it.

Regarding the cases, thanks for your advice. From these 3 I would choose, as you said, the Coolermaster N200 because it has the best price balance. I can find it at a price of €50, whereas the Fractal Define costs €80 and the NZXT even €150.
