Hey guys, I hope someone in here can be helpful to my problem.

A week back I decided to [strike]chance[/strike] change my PC case, because I didn't feel like that the old one had a good enough airflow, and I could feel the case getting pretty hot alongside with my GPU temp being too high.

After I changed case the airflow got a lot better, and I can definitely see a difference on my GPU temperature and feel on the air that gets blown out that it made a difference.

When I first made the change my computer would [strike]should[/strike] shut down randomly when gaming anything and I found that the CPU heatsink was misplaced, I placed it correctly and everything seemed fine.

But today I stumbled upon a new problem. When I try to play Overwatch my CPU temperature skyrockets until my computer shuts down. This problem only persists in Overwatch and I had no problem playing this with my old case.

Here are my specs:

AMD FX-8350 4GHz
XFX RX 480 4GB
8GB 1333MHz DDR3 ram
ASRock 980DE3/U3S3 motherboard
CPU fan - EVERFLOW R121225SL

The board is a poor match for that 125w CPU , has a very poor power and thermal design. That's why they have this warning on top of the CPU compatibility list:

"* For cooling the CPU and its surrounding components, please install a CPU cooler with a top-down blowing design."

The board runs hot with 125w CPU's , not built for it , won't be stable with 125w processor.

Ok, wasn't actually really aware of that. Might be time for a new mobo.
But I still can't make sense of that I never had these problems with the computer shutting down with the old case? The inside rig is completely the same. :/
