I am using the Astro A40 with the Mixamp Pro on my computer and my sound and microphone completely stop working randomly and it only starts working again when I go into the audio settings and disable and then re-enable the device. Why is this happening? It's not the mixamp because I even tried using just a splitter and it still did it. It's not the headset either because it works fine on my xbox one. What am I missing here? I checked the drivers for the motherboard and the latest drivers are from like 2013 and I have them installed. I'm not sure if that's correct or not. If anyone has had this happened or knows what to do please comment because its annoying to have my audio cut out.

Here are my specs:

You can definitely try using different usb ports. That's kind of the first thing you should check before doing other stuff. sometimes certain usb ports just won't work with certain devices. If you are plugging into a USB 3.0 port try using a 2.0 port as sometimes devices that are made with a 2.0 connector don't work right with 3.0 ports.

Forgot to mention that I have the mixamp drivers installed. I have used a mixamp, pc splitter, and I have used the headset by plugging in my xbox controller and having the headset plugged into the controller and this issue still happens. Is it the USB port?
