Well, I am currently debating on getting a new graphics card and I am not the best with this kind of stuff and my friend told me to put a post on here. I currently have an AMD Radeon HD 8470D which I know is not the best, but I am debating getting a GeForce GTX 1050, and I am wondering if this would be worth my money. I am hoping people can help me.
Someone that knows something about graphics card please read!

The 8470D is the onboard graphics of an A6.... I think?
What CPU do you have specifically? An A6 is (relatively) underwhelming performance-wise, so a GTX1050 is likely about as strong a GPU as I would recommend going with.

Run a program called Speccy and see what CPU and motherboard you have. A 1050 would be a good entry level gaming card...assuming the rest of your computer can keep up. It also depends on the games you intend to play, it would help if you named a couple.

The 1050 "might" be a good decision, but the A6 (in all likelihood) is going to hold it back,
Given the quality of the rest of the components, something like a GT1030 might be a better idea - although it's nowhere near as powerful as a 1050, it's more "fit for purpose" in that setup.
