microsoft basic display adapter

i have an microsoft basic display adapter with an radeon a2 graphics, will not connect via hdmi to tv, i know both cable and tv are good as I am using them with another laptop, it says drivers are up to date in device manager, any ideas.

Thanks for answering. I put a different hard drive in it from different computer. I downloaded all the drivers for most of the different hardware in the computer I put it in. I figure this is the problem but can't seem to find drivers for it or get them downloaded because the Radeon r2 shows up on cpu-z app but not device manager.

I already have a lot of stuff on it, I downloaded and installed the Radeon adapter and restarted that COL geek was talking about , but still no signal and still says ms basic display in device manager
