I upgraded my previous graphics (a really crappy one, idk the name of it) card to a EVGA 1050 TI 4gb. I start my computer and open google to download a program (I forgot the name of it, it was like DD-something) to uninstall my graphics card drivers and it says “no WiFi ” I trouble shooted it, I unplugged and plugged it back again(the computer), I put in the previous graphics card still no WiFi I uninstalled the WiFi adapter from device management and restarted my computer, that didn’t work and now I’m purely desperate for anything please
PC SPECS
intel core i7
16 gb ram
300W power supply
1 terabyte hard drive
I’ve had it for one year
I didn’t make the computer, I bought it
And btw the trouble shoot said “network cable not properly plugged in or broken”
And I checked to see if the adapter’s drivers are up to date and it says they are!!!!

Solution
What specific model of HP Envy? Also, what kind of wi-fi adapter does it have? The reason I ask is some wi-fi adapters are on pci or pci-e cards, cards which you might have removed to make room for a dual slot videocard.

edit: If it's onboard wi-fi, can you check in the motherboard bios that it hasn't be disabled?

You forgot to mention the OS, the make and model of your motherboard and the processor you're on.
List them like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

You will need to be specific with the make and model of each component(prior and current) to understand the power draw+adding in the age of your PSU will indicate if it's a dud at this point. Did you make sure your BIOS is up to date?

CPU: Intel Core i7
Idk the name of the motherboard since I bought the computer, it’s a hp computer.
16 gb ram
1 terabyte hard drive
Nvidia GeForce gtx EVGA 1050 ti 4gb(idk the previous one but it was a nvidia GeForce gtx one I’m guessing 750??)
300 W (some stock power supply that came with the computer)
Chassis: HP envy desktop
Windows 10
I have no idea about the bios if it’s up to date or not
And I’ve only had the computer for 1 year and 1 month
