Hey I have a PC build I am making (I am using older hardware due to budget issues).

I'm thinking of Putting an intel Core I5-2500S 2.7->3.7 Turbo.

1. The processor needs an LGA1155 Socket on the motherboard. Will any motherboard with an LGA1155 work?

2. Also another question, Do I have to be cautious on the Chipset? Is that just extra info about it? (Do motherboards only support specific chipsets?)

3. Would I need to get an LGA1155 socket with a similar chipset that the CPU has?

Any help, info, corrections, and directions is muchly appreciated.

1| Yeap any LGA1155 board will do. You could look into the 6 and 7 series chipsets for the platform but please keep in mind to cross check which board you're getting. Often times they will require a BIOS update for later revisions of a processor.

2| Ideally, you can pick up the H67 chipset boards, they will offer you the onboard GPU features and the processor doesn't support overclocking anyway.

3| Not quite sure I follow, what do you mean?
