Hi again. I have recently "transplanted" the guts form mi HP DC7100 to a newer case, the Tacens Mars Gaming MC5. This case is very light and has plenty of cooling options (EDIT: sorry, the PC turns off and the message was cut in half before I could finish it ), in fact there are eight possible places to put fans on. But is here:

where i have doubts about to put or not to put fans. Apparently they should blow fresh air towards the GPU ( the one over the PSU ) and towards the rest of components (the fan over the HDD rack).

I have mounted 2x120mm in the front(intake), 1x in the rear next to he CPU fan(exhaust), and 2x on top(exhaust), so , if I´m not wrong, it´s a negative pressure system.

I have only mounted 6 pcs and my experience is not the most extense, I want to exploit all the possibilities of the case to improve cooling, but before spending more money in new fans I want to know if, based on your experience, mounting two fans there will be ok for the system or it will cause trouble.

The system runs a Pres"hot" 3,2 Ghz, and the GPU is a GT740, just in case you need the info.

Many thanks in anticipation, and sorry for the message being so incomplete the first time. ;)

Sorry for almost answering two times, but, yes, I want to know if putting fans down there will be good or a total waste of resources and a cause of further problems, overall when summer arrives.

Thanks. :)
