I am buying a ASUS Prime z270-k and a Samsung 960 m.2 250gb. I want to install windows on it, is this process the same as installing it on any other ssd or hd? or do i have to do some fancy stuff inside the bios?

Solution

Nope. It is quite simple. If you can select it in your bios as the default boot device, then it will work.

So long as you can see the NVMe drive in your BIOS as a storage drive, installing Windows is the same process as it would be on SATA drives.
