HELP AMD Radeon R7 7860K or AMD Radeon R7 240 v2 1gb

Solution
If I was running a 7860K I would not buy that 240 thinking it was going to improve performance. That said, this is an APU. Two things you should know about APUs. One, they are designed to save the buyer money. They include graphics, which means you don't have to buy a videocard. If you buy one of these APUs then add a videocard to your system, you have defeated the purpose of buying it.

The other thing is that APUs are not as fast as equivalent CPUs. This is part of the trade off for the lower cost. If you buy an APU then add something like a 1060 and your framerate isn't as high as everyone else's, it's because they are using CPUs and you are using an APU.

As long as you understand you're getting less performance to keep costs down...

Although the r7 7860k is a fiarly decent gpu. Id recommend getting a stronger cpu (rather than an apu) and a discrete gpu because of the more flexibility in terms of upgradeability

As long as you understand you're getting less performance to keep costs down, and you don't mind that, then you won't be disappointed in the APU. If your intention is to play PUBG, then you're not going to be happy.
