Hello guys i have a problem, my motherboard GA G41MT S2 is shuting down whole computer, now it is realy unusual problem, when the computer is mounted on open rig case (workbench) it is working ok but when it is in closed case after ~15 min of gaming it shuts down and leave fan spinning.. I checked (changed) the cpu, ram, gpu, power supply its all fine, components are working ok and have normal temp.. but when the air gets hot in case it shuts down.. i changed paste on north and south bridges.. i check the temp on all of them and it is all fine the north brige is geting a little bit hot so i put the fan directly on it and it would shut down again (its not because of it).. i am geting rly confused and i have no idea what is wrong.. i suspect on some sensor that is corupted or damaged.. because if the air is geting around 33 celsius it would shut down.. I reinstaled windows I tried a lot of things that i cant all write :D...

Its a moded motherboard with Xeon E5440
8 GB DDR3
HD 7870 2 gb
LC Power Supply 600W LC600H-12

Sorry for bad english..

Check the bios and see if there a at this temp shutdown or something like that and what kind of cooler are you using for the cpu and sometimes on board temp readings are not really what happening.

i already did that.. I disabled all cpu temp related options in bios.. but it does not affect anything whether it is on or off.. its not cpu i changed to another one.. same problem.. the cooler is ok i guess not best but cpu temp in idle is ~30 celsius... when in load ~50... cpu cores are hot tho ~70.. so yesterday i turend on the heating of my room, the comp shuts down because of heat (it was hot in room around 30) hahahah .. core temp are same as if it was open or closed as for cpu temp.. i know that readings are not reliable.. like i said i checked with infrared thermometer and all seems fine... i flashed the bios, changed the termal pase on cpu.. idk whate else i can say...

you changed everything already except the board so I pretty sure it the board because you already Changed the the cpu, ram, gpu, power supply. I think it the board. What board model is it?
