on my pc, my operating system seemed to have disappeared. I'm not sure if its because I downloaded windows 10 on a flash drive for the new pc is going to build later or if its some kind of a bug. I don't wont to wipe my hard drive because I haven't gone through everything yet is there a way to fix this without wiping everything?

You're not going to get much of anyone's help based upon the paucity of information you provided re the problem you're experiencing.
First of all the fact that you apparently used the Windows 10 Media Creation tool to install the Win 10 setup files on that USB flash drive should have no bearing on your current problem unless you did something really weird during the install/installation of the Win 10 OS setup files onto the flash drive.
Provide detailed information about your PC...its components, OS, how the system is set up...as many details as you can so we can get a picture of your system together with the precise problem(s) you're experiencing. Tell us exactly what you mean when you state "my operating system seemed to have disappeared." What exactly happens when you power-up the PC?
