Okay so i have the HyperX Cloud 2 headset and sometimes when i move around in my chair a bit, ill here some loud staticky crackle sound and then my headset will literally shock my right ear.

When im in discord my friends say they can hear it when it shocks me.

Just wondering if anyone had similar issues or something.

I expect that it is a shock from static electricity.

I.e., you move about, rubbing the chair, and a static charge builds up. You accumulate an excess of electrons....

At some point the voltage difference between you and the earphone's ground reaches the point where the electrons breach the natural resistance of the earphones. A spark and a shock to you result.

Much like shuffling your feet on a rug some cold clear day and then touching a door knob. Literally "zap".

The key is to find another path for the electrons. E.g., ground yourself or your chair.
