So lately I have had some issues with my GPU overheating (~86-90 C). This caused my FPS to drop from 180 to 90. I have tried everything from cleaning the dust in my computer to reformatting to updating my graphics drivers. I suspect my power supply and airflow are my main issues. I plan on upgrading everything in the future, so what I want to do is find a case that will fit my current motherboard but also allow me to upgrade my MOBO/I7 CPU/RAM in the future. I also want to upgrade my PSU to be enough to support other upgrades as well as replace the bad brand (atleast what I hear) that I have now.

MSi Afterburner stats:

GPU Usage: 100%
CPU Usage: 100%
GPU Temp: 89 C
Fan speed: 100%
CPU temp: lower 60s

My specs:
CPU: Intel Core i5-4400
Gpu: NVIDIA Geforce GTX 970
MOBO: Aspire T-605
PSU: 520w insignia
RAM: 2x 4gb
Stock acer CPU coolor

Any suggestions?

I recommend full atx cases with 140-160mm fans... Big Air. These large fans move a ton of air with very low noise. I use the CoolerMaster Haf-X, but there are lots of good options. Another bonus is that these big cases are really easy to work inside of and provide for very clean cable management. Also, you're future proof; If your next motherboard is full atx with tripple-SLI, you're all set.

As for PSU, I like to have enough juice to run SLI. This has usually meant a Gold+ cert w/ single 70+amp rail 850Watt PSU w/ 5-10 year warranty. Something like the EVGA Supernova 850.
