Brand new build, spark came from GPU, now pc wont turn on anymore

So i was doing my first build and everything turned on just fine however, nothimg showed on my monitor. I plugged the pci-e cable into a different set of pins and when i turned on the pc, a spark from the gpu came. Afer that nothing turned on anymore and I am not sure what happened.

What should I do?

Can you double check where you plugged the GPU cables into? Full specs? Was the system off?
Based on what little information you provided, the PSU is likely dead, the GPU is also likely dead, and the motherboard could also potentially be damaged.

I plugged the cables into a port labled TPM, i have a gtx 1050 and a gigabyte b250m dh motherboard aswell as a corsair 550 watt psu.

You plugged your power supply into the TPM port? No wonder you saw sparks, you shouldnt have attached anything to that.

Most likely the motherboard is shot but there is a chance for other components as well sadly. Can you take a picture of the slot you plugged it in to just so I am 100% sure we are talking about the same thing?
