I'm looking into getting a new GPU, but I'm kinda anxious and want to get it asap, but black friday is around the corner and I'm just wondering, will GPUs get that much cheaper or should I just go ahead an buy it? Also, is it worth spending more for gaming X/ X+? Are they actually better than armor 6G/ gaming 6G?

Here are the model's I'm looking into (all MSI):
GTX 1060 ARMOR 6G OCV1
GTX 1060 GAMING 6G
GTX 1060 GAMING X 6G
GTX 1060 GAMING X+ 6G

Solution
For a 1060, I wouldn't think so.

GPU prices are higher than they should be currently, due to various influences - and it's not common for Black Friday to discount relatively "new" products.

BF/CM are used to clear out old stock - FX processors, maybe Skylake CPUs, PSUs, HDDs..... potentially older GPUs for any retailer that still has them in stock. 900 series cards are a possibility, but I wouldn't bet on it.

The differing models will offer higher clocks, better cooling, more OCing headroom etc.
If you're interested in OCing substantially, the higher end cards may be worth considering.

Cards like the OCV1 are single-fan designs, and are likely to run hotter (they're intended for SFF systems, where the reduction to a single fan is...

FWIW, right now (in the US anyway) the best "value" 1060 6GB is a Zotac AMP Edition! IMO.
PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

Video Card: Zotac - GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6GB AMP! Edition Video Card ($269.99 @ B&H)
Total: $269.99
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

The 1060's are over-priced though, so best "value" is relative to the prices for other 1060's.

They're not likely to be significantly cheaper, but there'll probably be some minor deals. If I had to hazard a guess I'd say you might save yourself $20, up to you whether it's worth waiting a week for that chance. It also won't be guaranteed that the model(s) you want will go on sale.

Usually my position on this question is to buy what you need when you need it. So if you need a card now, buy one now. But in this case you're so close to Black Friday I don't see the harm in waiting a bit longer. Worst that can happen is no good deals turn up, so you are not out anything except a bit of time waiting.
