Hello People reading this! I am quite a new PC builder, so this is the first thing I encourage something like this.

My motherboard will load into bios successfully but only once. By that j mean, that after I select my USB as a boot drive to install Windows, it just makes my monitor (connected via HDMI) go black screen. The only way I can re access bios is by taking out the battery and reputing after a while.

So I noticed, after I press sacr changes and reset, the motherboard shows Amber light, then red, then Amber, then red and it continues like that. O have made sure that everything is connected fine. I tried removing and booting without my GPU. Didn't work. I tried removing Each ram Stick separately. Didn't work.

So what seems to be the problem? I will probably return it because I think there is something wrong with it.

My specs:

GTX 1060
I5 6500
Asus 270h strix
750 Evo ssd
1 TB hard drive
8 GB 2400 DDr4 Ram

Sorry for not being fully clear about my mother board.I am referring to the ROG STRIX Z270H GAMING. By the way, I currently have no OS...so I can't access anything but the bios, but like I said I can only access it if I take the battery out then in after 2-3 min. But once I save changes in bios and quit, then I don't have access to it again, just a black screen.

I also tried to update it from bios, it rebooted as it should and again...black screen. I am assuming it's just damaged?
