Hey guys, so it's black friday in our country, and thought about upgrading my CPU/MOBO and ofc Rams. Well here are a few options but I can't decide how much Mhz I need, or if I need dual or single, I am really not aware of which one is better and worse.

It was easier to just take a picture:

800 LEI is around 200 USD.

My opinion is the 2x8gb 3000hz one

Hey there! Actually I do not have the new motherboard and cpu yet, but it would be a z270 and i7700k

On a website there's an i7 7700k for like 320$ (with AC Origins and Warhammer II too)

The i7-7700k officially supports DDR4-2133/2400MHz.

It is best to choose your RAM kit from the MB QVL for whatever z270 MB you choose. Wait till the MB is chosen as you are taking a risk re: Compatibility. Make sure you can return them if you can't get them to their rated speed.

Which CPU supports 3000?

Also what can happen if the ram is 3000 and cpu supports only 2400mhz?

Weird that a Coffee lake can do almost the same performance as a 7700K, but I guess because it's not overclocked.

Are you sure that an i5 would be a good choice if I want to buy the parts for the next 3-4 years at least?

Also I am really really thinking to buy this: https://www.pcgarage.ro/procesoare/intel/kaby-lake-core-i7-7700k-420ghz-box/ (selling the games from it, would be a 70$ cut)

It depends on the strength of the chips IMC (Integrated Memory Controller) if OC RAM will work.
Unless you have considerable Bios experience in managing Primary Timings and Voltage, It's best to stick with a kit of RAM at the official frequency of your CPU and tested by the MB manufacturer.

3000MHz is considered as OC (Overclock). As this is not the JDEC standard, any XMP profile may not be recognized. They may or may not work and this is the risk you take. There is very little difference between 2400MHz and 3000MHz when gaming.
My advice is to select your RAM kit from the MB QVL that have been tested and known to work together.

I will just prolly wait until summer and buy something then. I really wanted this 7700k setup, so I remove this freakin bottleneck of my gtx 1080, but if u say that it's not really worth buying that, then okay.

This way 7700K would be like 250$, and 8700k is like 420$, so yea almost double cause u get no gift for that.

Also I really don't know how to OC processors.
