Acronis true image WD edition won't clone

I got a new ssd from Western digital and downloaded the cloning software from their website, Whenever i try to clone it the software will tell me that i need to restart or the operation will be canceled. I have done this about 5 ties and it still won't let me clone

May be some bug in WD's software....

Not sure about WD's product. From time to time I have seen WD Rep's posting in this forum but have not noticed any such postings for quite a while.

Try EaseUS software:

https://www.easeus.com/backup-utility/copy-and-clone-hard-drive.html

Give their software (free) a try and see if the cloning will succeed.

If the clone does not succeed then, hopefully, there will some error code or message presented to explain the reason(s).
