Hey all,

So here's the problem. I recently started playing Rainbow 6 Siege. It ran fine until getting into a game. I started experiencing frame rate drops every 10-20 seconds for about 5 seconds. I monitored my resources and usage to discover that my cpu is bouncing between 2 and 4 cores. When it's running good all four cores are at 100% usage, when I get a frame rate drop, only cores 1 and 2 are at 100%. Cores 3 and 4 go to 0%. I have an Intel core i7 dual core processor hyperthreaded for quad core, not by my computer to give an exact model but could add later if needed. Any help is appreciated!

Your post makes partial sense. Can you list your specs like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

Have you made sure your BIOS is up to date? Have you tried running another/other game title(s) to see if the issue is isolated to Rainbow Six:Siege alone?
