Hi!

I did a UEFI update( i was getting BSOD's), when it was at 100% pc restarted itself, but then crashed so i restarted it. I was starting to smell burning, and then it gave me no signal it did'nt boot up. So i cleared the cmos and swapped ram slot and then it worked, but was freezing in random places and time. When i tried to swap ram back to where it was, it just won't boot. Is it possible that i burned my motherboard? I also tried to install new OS but it froze when i tried.

I identified my motherboard i can't anything burnt or bad, just one ram slot does not work, the one where my ram was in when i updated bios and smell burning. i've tried another ram stick and it just works the same, i also swapped out gpu, but still same problem. i dont think that smell came from psu. It sometimes freezes before booting to windows and sometimes after 5 mins in windows.

I still need to know what exact models your motherboard, RAM and power supply are?

Could this be a bad cpu causing all the BSOD's before bios update and now that freezing after Bios update. Because i swapped out my cpu to my old cpu and everything seems to run smooth. Don't know about the burning smell tho. Maybe cpu got burt a little? Can't find any damages on the cpu tho.

Anyway Here are my specs too
Mobo: Asrock FM2A58 +BTC
Cpu: Amd Athlon x4 880k
Gpu: Zotac Gtx 1050ti
Psu: Lepa 500W MX-F1 80 Bronze
Ram: Vengance 8GB 1600Mhz 1,5v
And some old HDD 160GB i've also tried other HDD they worked the same
