Is it possible to move windows from an SSD to an HDD without reinstalling it?

I have a 120GB SSD as boot drive and I'm planning to upgrade to 240GB, however I have to sell the old one first.
So I want to know if there is a way to move the os to an HDD without reinstalling it.

yes, you can either :
1. clone the SSD to a HDD and then clone the HDD to the new SSd
2. you can save the SSD as an image file, store it somewhere and then restore it to the SSD
there are many tools to do so both free and payed like acronis or paragon . I like to use EaseUS as it does the job for home purposes and is free for home use.

Provided the HDD is clean (ie nothing on it you can't afford to lose), you should be able to clone the 120GB SSD (all partitions) to the HDD.

There are various cloning software(s) that exist freely.

You might be able to clone to a partition on the HDD, but I wouldn't bank on it working flawlessly.

Thanks for the response.
I cloned the SDD to an old HDD I had that also happened to be 120GB, other then the slowness and increased boot time everything else worked fine.
The clone feature in EaseUS was not included in the free version so I used Macrium Reflect instead.

Thanks again.
