I am in a nursing home. Due to lack of cell service, I need to connect to the nursing home's internet service without "hard" wiring to its router. How?

Where are you seeing "fax"?

"The Ooma Wireless + Bluetooth Adapter enables Ooma Telo to connect to the Internet wirelessly using your Wi-Fi network."

The Ooma Telo is the standard Ooma device.
Normally, it connects directly to the router.
This device apparently lets it talk to the router via WiFi.

I am looking to get a "house phone" for my room. Cell service is not an option. Looking at Ooma perhaps or something similar. Just need to connect through the wireless internet they provide me as I don't have direct access to their router.

If I'm reading the applications for this properly though, it is to add another line such as a fax to the hard wired connection. Not gonna work.

Thank you for the tip! However, the reviews about having to reset it all the time and fails to connect other times doesn't sound like what I want. How about Linksys WET610N? Would this be a better option?

I saw this before and thought it was for setting up other phone lines to the one you have through the wired connected device. But apparently I was incorrect. Seeings how it states clearly here it is exactly what I am looking for. I will order this and let you know.

What do you need the house phone for? If you are just going to use the house phone for voice communication their other options than using a wired home phone. I know you said cell is not an option, is this because their is no cell coverage in the aera? Are you in the US? AT&T for instance can use cell or wifi to place and recieve calls. So if you loose your cell sigional but are connected to wifi you will still recieve calls on your cell phone it is completely transparent to the end user, it is called wifi calling. Another option would be to buy a smart phone do not activate it and suscribe to a calling service that will provide you a phone number like magic jack, Skype etc. their are many you then place all calls through the app incoming calls will ring like a normal cell call. Their are also munite limited free services that give you a phone number like freedom pop. If you go the cell route you can use the phone anywhere you can get a wifi sigional not just your room.
