AMD FX 9590 and Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 Compatibility Errors

Hello, i am doing an upgrade for a buddy where he purchased an AMD FX 9590 which was confirmed to be working and a brand new Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 motherboard. After installing Windows 10 Pro 64-bit and the newest drivers plus a BIOS update to the most recent 'R3'. The System still freezes at random times and requires a forced shut down by pressing the power button.

What revision of the board ? Cooling ? And PSU IS TOO WEAK and poor quality. This is common for 9000 series and rarely gets solved.

You really need to under volt and lower the clock speed of the processor that 220 Watt power draw is killer, or just sell it and buy a 8350 used their cheap now.

Downclocking and undervolting it to FX-8350 values is the best way to avoid having a 9xxx series a total failure. You're unlikely to sell it for anything like what it is worth, since most know how bad it is by now.
